I'm convinced most people are over-lubing their stabilizers
I keep seeing builds with mushy spacebars because there's so much dielectric grease in the housings. A tiny dot on the wire ends and a thin coat on the plastic is all you need, anything more kills the feel. How do you guys measure your lube to avoid this?

Totally agree, it's a huge problem. People treat it like they're frosting a cake instead of lubing a switch. I use a tiny brush and literally wipe most of the lube off before it touches the plastic. The goal is to remove the scratch, not add a bunch of silent squish. What kind of brush do you use?

The "frosting a cake" line from @jamieburns is honestly perfect. I saw a tutorial where someone used a whole gram of lube on sixty switches. That's just making a greasy mess, not fixing the sound. Your brush method is the only way it makes sense.
