I used to lube every single switch stem by hand with a brush but now I just dunk them in a bag of dielectric grease and shake it around.

Switched over after building 6 boards in one weekend last winter and my fingers cramped up so bad I couldn't hold a coffee mug, has anyone else tried this shortcut or am I just being lazy?

Dunk and shake is genius until you find dielectric grease in your coffee cup three weeks later. Been there with the cramped fingers. I used to hand lube every single switch like some kind of keyboard monk. Now I just throw them in a ziplock bag with some Krytox and shake it like a paint can. Works fine. No more hand cramps. Less mess if you don't sneeze mid shake.
