Hot-swap sockets ruined my soldering habit, and I'm glad
I spent 2 years and about $300 on solder gear before I tried a hot-swap board from a local meetup in Austin. Realized I was just forcing myself to enjoy desoldering because I thought it was part of the 'real' hobby. Now I swap switches in 5 minutes and actually use my boards. Anyone else ditch soldering once they tried hot-swap?
