Hit 10 million keystrokes on my Planck last night
I was just cleaning the keycaps and checked QMK's counter on a whim. Turns out I crossed 10 million cumulative keystrokes since I built this board 3 years ago. That's like typing a short novel every single day in terms of raw presses. I never really thought about wear on the switches until I saw that number. Has anyone else checked their total count and been surprised by a milestone?

10 million is a Serious flex, I feel for your poor switches.

Man, it's wild how we just accept that things wear out way faster than they should. I got a $7 switch from the hardware store that clicks like new after three years, but my buddy's fancy programmable one started sticking in six months. Feels like quality and money don't line up anymore, you know? Cheap stuff breaks fast, expensive stuff breaks just a little slower.
