Got roasted by a coworker for my terrible soldering technique last month

He pointed at my joints and said they looked like robot vomit, so I finally bought a flux pen and started tinning my wires properly. Has anyone else gotten a brutal reality check that actually improved their builds?

Sounds like my buddy Dave when someone told him his wiring looked like a plate of spaghetti. He got so mad he spent a whole weekend practicing and now his builds are actually decent.
