Finally fixed my spacebar rattle after a year of just dealing with it

Last Thursday I spent 3 hours swapping out the stabilizers on my Tofu60 for some Durock V2s and it's like having a completely new board now. Anyone else have that one little annoyance they ignored forever before finally fixing it?

Man I feel that in my bones. I had a Keychron Q1 that had this awful ping in the spacebar for almost a year. I just got used to it thinking it was normal until a buddy let me type on his board and I realized how bad mine really was. Finally swapped the stabs out last month and it's night and day. Makes you wonder why we put up with these little things so long when the fix is usually pretty straightforward. Glad you finally got yours sorted out, it really does feel good to have that nagging annoyance gone.

I lubed the stock stabs on my Keychron K2 and it helped a little but that spacebar rattle was still there. Ended up picking up some Durock V2s and it was like a whole different keyboard. Easy swap too, just had to clip the little legs and it was good to go. Sometimes you just gotta admit the stock stuff isn't cut out for it.
