Debate: lubing switches with a brush vs. the dunk method - which is actually better long term?

So I've been building boards for about 2 years now and I always used the little brush and tray method for lubing switches. Took forever but felt like I had control. Then last month I tried just dunking my switches in a thin lube mix and shaking them off. Way faster like 30 minutes vs 3 hours for a full TKL. But I'm worried the dunk method leaves uneven coverage or gets lube inside the switch housing where it shouldn't be. My first batch feels okay after a week but who knows in 6 months. Any of you tried both and stuck with one over the other? What made you decide?

HAH I was a brush guy for like three years and swore by it. Told everyone the dunk method was sloppy and you'd get lube everywhere. But I finally tried it on a cheap set of Gateron yellows last month and honestly? Yeah I take it back. The consistency is actually fine if you shake off the excess and the time savings is just INSANE. I'm still careful not to dunk super expensive switches but for bulk builds I'm converted now.

There's also the whole thing nobody talks about where brush lubing puts way more wear on your switch housing from all that back and forth. Dunking is basically one motion and done, less chance of fucking up the plastic long term.
