Checked out that meetup in Austin and nobody lubed their stabilizers
Went to the monthly keyboard meetup at a coworking space off Lamar. About 30 boards on the table, and I picked up three different ones that sounded like gravel rattling around. Asked the owner of a $400 custom if he'd lubed the stabs, and he said he didn't think it mattered. I brought my own test keycaps and it was night and day. Does anyone actually skip this step because they think it's a waste, or is it just a patience thing?
