Vent: pitched 3 brands last month with a full media kit, got 1 reply, then a plain DM landed a $400 deal
I spent 6 hours on a fancy PDF with my stats and rate card and heard nothing, but the brand that said yes came from a two line DM asking what I actually use their product for. Has anyone else had better luck just talking like a person instead of sending the polished deck?

That "two line DM" bit hits home, all that time on a fancy PDF and one short message beat it. Feels good to know I'm not the only one who wasted hours on a deck for nothing.
