PSA: the barista at the coffee shop on 3rd in Austin is basically a full time content creator and nobody calls it that
Stood in line behind her while she filmed a 15 second clip of the pour, then watched her schedule it in an app while my latte got cold. She has 40k followers and makes more from the coffee clips than her actual shift, which blew my mind. Anyone else noticed regular jobs quietly turning into this?
Wait, does that mean I need to start filming myself making instant ramen just to keep up with rent? I can barely post a pic of my dog without overthinking the caption for an hour, so this whole thing is wild to me. Good for her though, get that cold latte money I guess.
