I thought paying for a creator newsletter was dumb until I saw the $12 a month one from a guy in Omaha
I used to think paying for a newsletter was the biggest waste of money in the creator world, since almost everything ends up free somewhere else a week later. Then I paid $12 a month for one run by a guy in Omaha who writes about indie game marketing and he actually shares his own numbers and client emails every Friday, which no free account does. Has anyone else found a paid creator newsletter that was worth it, or did I just get lucky with this one?
Honestly $12 a month for a newsletter is still $144 a year and that is real money for something you read on your phone. Tbh the whole thing only sounds worth it because he posts client emails and numbers, but how do you even know those numbers are real? Guys sharing their own revenue screenshots can just make up whatever gets people to keep paying. Ngl I have seen free writers give away better stuff than some paid ones, so one good find does not mean the whole paid newsletter thing is smart. Sounds like you found a decent one, but calling it a game changer over one Omaha guy feels like a stretch.
