DAE hit a weird milestone number that meant more than the big round ones?
I hit 1,500 paid subscribers on Patreon last week and honestly it felt bigger to me than when I crossed 10k. The reason is dumb: 1,500 is roughly what I need to cover rent in Columbus plus my software bills, so it's the first number that felt like a real floor under me. But part of me thinks fixating on any number is a trap, since it can make you play it safe instead of trying new stuff. Where do you all draw the line between a milestone that motivates you and one that just makes you scared to lose it?
