A viewer told me my $500 course felt like a sales pitch, so I refunded 12 people and rebuilt it
She wrote that by minute 20 she still had no idea what she was actually getting, and honestly she was right. I cut the 40 minute intro down to 4 minutes and put the real lesson in the first clip, and refunds went from 12 in a month to zero. Anyone else get a note that stung but fixed your whole setup?
Man, twelve refunds turning into zero is a big swing. But I don't buy that the intro was the whole problem, people drop off for all kinds of reasons and one angry note doesn't always mean the setup was broken. Sometimes the fix works and you still never really know which part did it.
