A stranger's 2-word critique at a craft fair changed my pricing

I was selling my handmade planners at a small market in Portland last spring when an older woman picked one up, flipped through it, and said, 'too busy.' She walked off before I could ask what she meant. I've simplified my layouts since then, but I still wonder if I overcorrected. Anyone else get a single comment that stuck with them for months?

That Portland market is a tough crowd, I know it well. My wife got a similar one word comment about her pottery there and it took her a year to shake it off.
