A guy at a Dallas meetup pulled up my channel and asked why I had 40 videos nobody watched
He said it plain as day, right in front of the group, that I was making content for myself and not for one actual person. That one line hit harder than any course I ever bought. Now I write every script like I'm talking to just him. Has anyone else had a stranger hand them a truth like that?
Why does it take a stranger saying it out loud for it to stick? We do this everywhere, not just with content. People build whole lives around what they assume other people want, the car they think looks right, the small talk they think sounds normal, and nobody stops to check if any real person on the other end cares. The guy at the meetup just did what most people are too polite to do, and polite is why we all stay stuck.
