A 19 year old viewer made me rethink my whole content calendar

Got a comment last week from a kid who said they watched my 3 year old video about pricing tree work, not any of the new stuff. Said my older stuff felt less polished but more honest. That hit me because I've been chasing production quality and fancy edits for months now, and apparently the raw stuff is what people actually want. I'm not saying I'll go back to shaky phone footage, but I'm mixing in more unscripted takes now. Has anyone else gotten feedback that made you question what you're actually creating for?

Damn, that hits home. I stripped all my edits back to just talking straight into the camera and my engagement doubled. Raw honesty beats polish every time.
