3 years of Patreon and I finally cut my overseas editor loose

Last month I realized I was paying a guy in Manila $1,200 a month just to trim my videos and he kept missing my pacing notes. So I learned DaVinci Resolve over a weekend using free YouTube tutorials and did my last upload solo. Has anyone else hit that wall where outsourcing stops being worth it?
