The day my antique Smith-Corona typewriter jammed mid paragraph on a library story prompt.
I was typing out a horror prompt about a haunted typewriter for a workshop last Thursday when the 'n' key just snapped off and flew into the corner, so I had to finish the whole scene with a hacked-together 'n' from a broken toy keyboard taped to my finger.

Did your friend try superglue on the broken key?

Ah man, I gotta disagree a little bit... superglue can be risky on something like a key since it might seep into the lock mechanism and mess things up worse. I've seen people use it and end up with a key that either snaps again or gets stuck in the ignition.
