Old train depot in Sandusky had a whole wall of postcards people wrote but never mailed
Stopped at the old depot in Sandusky last Saturday and there's a room in the back with 30 or 40 postcards pinned to a corkboard, all written out but never sent. I read a few and they were these tiny leftover scenes, someone's grandma's porch, a dog on a boat, and it hit me that unfinished postcards make great writing prompts because you have to invent why the person never sent it. Anyone else ever pull prompt ideas from old letters or found notes like this?
