DAE notice most writing prompts are just character descriptions, not actual story starters?
I was scrolling through prompts last night and counted 15 out of 20 that were like 'a detective with a dark past' and gave no situation or conflict. How do you even start a story from that without making up everything yourself?

That's just a character sheet, not a prompt.

Wait, so we're just supposed to read a whole character profile and then magically know what to prompt? lol That's like handing me a dog's medical history and expecting me to know exactly what shampoo to use without asking a single question first. I've seen some lazy prompts before, but this is basically just copy-pasting a backstory and calling it done. At least give a starting point or a fun twist to work with, you know?
