Blocked for 2 hours because I couldn't name a villain right

I spent two hours staring at a blank page last week because I kept trying to name my main villain before writing anything else. Finally I just typed VILLAIN and moved on. The story flowed immediately after that. Does anyone else get stuck on tiny details like names or settings before you even start?

Set the wrong font before typing a single word and convinced myself the whole project was doomed. Spent an hour switching between Arial and Times New Roman before I admitted I was just avoiding writing.

Honestly @morgan_lewis18, saying you "convinced yourself the whole project was doomed" is a little dramatic. A font is just letters on a screen, not a death sentence for your work. Spent an hour switching between Arial and Times New Roman sounds like you were just hunting for a distraction, not a fix. Next time just pick the default and start writing, you can always change it later.
