That foreman who called my rigging 'cute' back in 2017

At a site near Tulsa he watched me strap a 4,000 lb HVAC unit and said 'cute work, kid' with a smirk, but then he walked over and retied it the same exact way I had it. I still wonder if he was testing me or if he genuinely thought I needed the lesson, anyone else run into a supervisor like that?
