Saw a 40 year old crane site on Google Earth, night and day difference
I was bored last week and looked up an old job site in Gary, Indiana where my dad ran a Grove RT for like a decade. The satellite images go back to the 80s and you can see the layout barely changed until 2016. Then some developer came in, cleared the whole lot, and now there's a warehouse with two tower cranes up. What really got me was the old gravel laydown area versus the new engineered pads, they actually mark swing zones now. Anyone else ever check out a spot you worked forever ago and see how the industry shifted underneath you?
