Old foreman said never trust a load chart after 10 degrees of boom angle, he was right

My foreman back in Tulsa swore the chart lies once you push past 10 degrees off level, and after I nearly tipped a 60 ton Grove in Odessa last month because I fudged the math, I'm wondering who else learned that lesson the hard way versus who adjusts on the fly, what's your call?
