My boom angle sensor was off by 2 degrees for months before I caught it

I kept having to tell the ground guy to re-spot my loads on a job near Omaha and couldn't figure out why. Turned out my sensor was reading 2 degrees high against a manual inclinometer I checked with a buddy's laser level. Has anyone else had those digital sensors drift on them over time?

How long was it reading off before you noticed? I had a similar issue on a Liebherr LTM 1050 where the sensor drifted almost 3 degrees over a summer. The digital ones are worse about drift than the old analog ones in my experience. You ever check your sensor calibration against a known level like a transit or a digital protractor? That's how I caught mine after the ground guy kept saying my boom was hitting the load chart wrong.
