Spent 2 hours trying to get a 4th controller synced for Mario Party night
Had the crew over Saturday and we were all set for Mario Party on the Switch, but the 4th Joy-Con just would not connect no matter what I tried. I messed with the sync button, the controller settings menu, even unplugged the dock twice before my buddy Dave pointed out I was holding the button on the wrong controller the entire time. Two hours of my life gone for a fix that took literally 5 seconds once I got it right. Has anyone else lost a whole chunk of game night to something this dumb?

Oh man, the wrong controller thing is brutal. Reminds me of the time my sister spent 20 minutes yelling at the TV because the sound was gone, and it turned out she had muted it by sitting on the remote. We still bring that up at every family dinner. At least Dave caught it before hour three, so you only lost two hours instead of the whole night.
