Watched a stylist at a hair show in Dallas break every rule I learned in school
I went to the Southwest Hair Expo in Dallas back in April and sat in on a cutting class where the instructor, Marcus, didn't section a single head the way I was taught in beauty school. He cut dry, no tension, and told the room of about 40 stylists that wet cutting hides the mistakes you should be seeing. I've been doing this 9 years and I felt like a student again. Anybody else changed their whole approach after watching someone work live like that?
