Tried a buttercream vs my regular oil sheen on a client last Thursday

The buttercream looked great for about 20 minutes then melted into a greasy mess under the dryer. My cheap oil sheen held up all day through humidity. Has anyone else had this happen with buttercream on coarse hair?

Man I used to swear by buttercream for everything. Thought it was the holy grail. But yeah after seeing it slide right off coarse hair under heat I'm starting to rethink that.

Yeah I had the exact same problem... ended up switching to a leave-in cream and it barely budges even with the blow dryer on high. Made a huge difference for me.
