That convention demo in Dallas made me swap out my whole brush kit

I was at a hair show back in 2018, somewhere near the convention center in Dallas. A stylist from some local salon was doing a live cut and she used this one round brush I'd never seen before. She talked about how the bristle angle changes grip mid-blowout. I bought three of them on the spot and now I barely touch my old ceramic ones. Has anyone else had a random demo totally flip their routine?

That demo happened to me at a different show but same vibe - bought two of those angled bristle brushes and never looked back. My old brushes just sit in a drawer now collecting dust. The difference in how the hair dries is wild, like night and day.

Isn't it funny how one little change in a tool can totally mess with your whole routine? I feel like that happens with so many things, like finally getting a good kitchen knife or a vacuum that actually picks up pet hair. You just wonder why you put up with the mediocre stuff for so long, almost like we're conditioned to accept "good enough" until something proves us wrong.
