Stumbled on the fact that hair salons in the US waste over 1 million gallons of water a day

Was reading through a beauty industry report last night and that number just hit me hard, especially when you think about how many of us leave the water running while applying color. Anyone else ever try those low-flow spray nozzles or find a way to cut down on rinse time without rushing the service?

Ngl I saw a TikTok of a stylist who just collected her rinse water in buckets and used it on her houseplants, and the comments were split between "genius" and "that's so extra" and I couldn't stop laughing about how heated people got over plant water.
