Still saw someone try to skip the scalp check before a color service today

Had a new client last week who told me her previous stylist in Cleveland never did a patch test and she ended up with a chemical burn on her hairline, and that's what finally convinced me to always stick to the 48-hour rule no matter how rushed I feel.

Yeah absolutely not worth the risk. That 48 hour wait sucks but burns are way worse.

Right, that 48 hour wait is annoying but way better than dealing with a chemical burn and a pissed off client.
