Pro tip: I stopped using a bowl for my bleach mixes and it changed everything
I was always making a mess and wasting product until I started mixing directly in the applicator bottle. Just measure your powder and developer right in there, shake it for 30 seconds, and you're ready to go. Anyone else have a better way to keep the station clean during a full highlight?

Mixing in the bottle is a total game changer for keeping things clean. I read a tip in a stylist group about using a small funnel to get the powder in without any dust cloud. It sounds way better than my old method, which left a fine white film on everything. Robin658 is right that it's just powder, but that film gets on my client's robe and even my phone if I'm not careful. The funnel plus the bottle mix keeps my station actually tidy, not just quick-wipe tidy.

Oh my god, I feel this so hard. I used to get bleach powder absolutely everywhere, like all over the counter and my clothes. It was such a pain to clean up every single time. Mixing in the bottle sounds way smarter, I gotta try that next time. My station always looks like a crime scene after a highlight.

A crime scene seems a bit dramatic. It's just powder. A quick wipe down fixes it. The bottle trick is fine, but the mess was never that big a deal to begin with.
