My client in Phoenix asked for a 'sunset balayage' and showed me a picture of a literal desert skyline.

I had to mix four different direct dyes on the fly to even get close to those orange and purple tones. Anyone have a go-to formula for a request that specific?

Seriously though... it's just hair. Or paint on a canvas. People are acting like it's some huge deal. It's not like anyone got hurt over it. The whole thing feels way overblown for what it actually is.
