Honestly just hit 500 clients and the last one was a total trip
I was doing a simple root touch-up for a regular, and she casually mentioned she needed it done before her pet iguana's birthday party next week. Ngl, I've heard a lot of reasons for a rush job, but that's a new one for me. What's the weirdest reason someone's given you for needing their hair done ASAP?

A client once told me she needed her color refreshed before a court date for a zoning violation about her lawn gnome collection. That iguana party is pretty tame compared to some of the excuses I've heard over the years. People's personal lives definitely spill into the salon chair in the strangest ways.

Yeah, I read an article once about how hairdressers hear more secrets than therapists, and stories like that from @lisa671 totally prove it. A zoning violation over lawn gnomes? That's a new level of specific drama. It's wild what people will share when they're sitting in that chair, like they forget we're real people just trying to do a blowout. Makes you wonder what the actual court case looked like.
