Found a hack for stubborn foil highlights that actually worked

I kept having issues with foils slipping out during processing, especially on longer hair, and it was driving me nuts. Tried spritzing the sections with a tiny bit of hairspray before wrapping and it held everything in place perfectly for the whole 30 minutes. Anyone else got a weird trick that saves their butt on busy days?

Hairspray makes the hair stiff and brittle, don't see how that's a hack and not just asking for breakage.

Oh man I used to totally side with the people who said hairspray was gonna wreck the hair. But I tried it on a client with super fine slippery hair last week and honestly it worked way better than I expected. The foil stayed put and the hair was fine after washing.
