Changed my mind about those expensive hair shears after talking to a barber in Chicago
I always thought spending $300 on scissors was a waste when my $40 pair worked fine. But Jeff at Joe's Barber Shop on Clark Street let me test his Mizutani shears last month and I couldn't believe the difference in how clean the cut was. Now my hands don't ache after 4 back to back clients. Has anyone else had a tool switch that actually saved your wrists?

Man, did you really notice that much of a difference in hand fatigue? I've been using the same $50 shears for like 3 years now and my wrist starts killing me after like 2 clients. Been thinking about upgrading but couldn't justify the cost. But if it actually stops the aching that sounds worth it. I feel like people don't talk enough about how much tool weight and balance messes with your hands over time.

Ngl cheap shears work fine if you take care of them.
