My foreman in Denver pushed me to do daily written logs, and I fought him on it for 2 weeks
I thought daily logs were a waste of time since I could keep it all in my head, but when a concrete pour went sideways on a job in Denver, those 3 paragraphs I wrote each morning saved us from eating a $14,000 change order. My foreman just kept saying "write it down, even the boring stuff" and I finally gave in after he showed me how fast a paper trail kills an argument. Does anyone here still run paper logs, or has everyone switched to an app for this?
