Daily photo logs saved my ass on a warranty dispute last week

Took a pic of every rebar tie and concrete pour on a 12-unit build in Tacoma, and when the owner claimed cracks were our fault, the timestamps shut it down in 20 minutes. Has anyone else made camera documentation a habit on site, or am I just paranoid?

That timestamp trick you pulled is genius, but here's the part nobody thinks about: those photos also cover your own crew's mistakes. If one of your guys messes up a pour and you catch it on camera, you can fix it before the owner even sees it, which saves you way more than any warranty fight. Just make sure you store the pics off-site, because a busted phone or stolen laptop will erase your whole defense faster than a concrete truck can dump.
