Went to check a slab at a new build in Phoenix last Tuesday

Saw the finishers using a curing compound that looked way too thin. They were spraying it on like water, barely any coverage. I asked the foreman about it and he said it was leftover from another job. That thin layer is gonna crack by the end of the month, especially in this dry heat. Has anyone else run into guys cheaping out on curing compound.

Called the supplier direct and had them send the right spec stuff. Told the foreman they could either redo it right or I'd report the skim job to the builder.
