Tried a power trowel on a warehouse floor instead of hand finishing
Last week I had a 20,000 square foot warehouse slab and decided to rent a power trowel for the first time instead of hand troweling like I always do. The finish came out way smoother and it cut my finishing time by almost 4 hours. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a big difference in surface quality?

Way smoother? Mine looked like a mess the first few times.

Yeah karenf40, "looked like a mess" is exactly how mine turned out at first. I heard somewhere that it's all about the temperature of the pan and not moving the food around too much, which made a huge difference for me. Once I stopped fussing with it every few seconds, it started coming out way more even.
