Had a 4-yard slab crack through the middle after 2 days
Poured a patio last Tuesday and the whole thing split right down the center because I didn't put enough expansion joints in a 40-degree stretch, has anyone else had a control joint fail that fast?

Check the soil underneath before you blame just the joints. I had a slab do the same thing on a rental property and it turned out there was a buried tree root that rotted out and left a void. The concrete had no support right where it cracked. Dig down next to the crack and see if the base shifted or dropped out on you.
