A sudden rainstorm in Denver turned my driveway pour into a real mess
We were about halfway through finishing a 20 by 30 foot driveway when the sky opened up, washing out the surface before it could set. I had to quickly tarp the area and then rework the entire top layer the next morning after it dried out a bit. Has anyone else had to salvage a pour after unexpected weather, and what's your best tip for the cleanup?

Should've checked the forecast first.

Forecasts can be wrong though. Like that time last summer when they said clear skies and a thunderstorm rolled in out of nowhere. Ended up flooding the whole downtown area. Makes you wonder if checking is even worth it sometimes lol.

Totally, you have to check. I got caught last fall because I didn't. Was supposed to be a quick hike, sunny all day. Ended up in a downpour that soaked me to the bone, just like hart.tara said about that downtown flood. My own fault for trusting a clear morning sky. Now I check three different apps, it's made me paranoid. Don't you find you just stop trusting a single forecast after something like that happens?
