The shipping label printer that made me check our UPS rates twice

So I'm working through a batch of returns for a client in Omaha and I spot a thermal label misprint, the tracking number came out as a string of zeros instead of the actual digits. I dug into the driver settings and found the label template was pulling from a cached file that hadn't updated since 2019, which is wild because the software said it was current. How often do you guys actually verify your label templates are pulling live data, or is this just me being paranoid after one weird afternoon?
