Stripped a screw on a motherboard tray at 2am and just had to walk away
I was swapping out a PSU in a client's Dell Optiplex last night around midnight, working in my garage. The screw on the motherboard tray was so tight it stripped the head clean, and I didn't have a fresh extractor bit handy. Ended up having to drill the thing out with a tiny bit, which took me like 45 minutes and left metal shavings everywhere. Has anyone else had a case screw just ruin your whole vibe on a simple job?

That "stripped screw vibe hits different at 2am" line made me chuckle, but honestly I think there's a lesson here about not rushing things. If you're working on someone else's machine in the middle of the night, maybe that's asking for trouble. I've learned the hard way that a few extra minutes of patience upfront saves hours of headaches later.
