Just realized how many server rooms still use Windows 2003
Was helping a buddy do an audit at a medical office yesterday and found 3 servers still running 2003. One of them was their main file server. I checked and Microsoft ended support for that in 2015. Scary part is they didn't even know it was a problem. Anyone else find old OS installations lurking in clients' networks?

Read a news article saying some hospital systems still run XP in patient care.

My old man was in a rural hospital back in 2018 and I saw a nurses station running Windows 2000. Not XP, 2000. It's scary how outdated some of these systems are, especially when patient data is involved. The machines they control (like MRI scanners) cost millions so hospitals don't want to upgrade them. Plus the software for those machines is often custom built by companies that went under years ago. It's a ticking time bomb honestly.
