I finally got my dad to stop calling every computer problem a 'virus'
Now he blames the Wi-Fi for everything instead.

Oh man that's so real. I mean it's like people need one simple thing to blame for all tech problems, and once they learn a new word that's the only one they use. Same thing happened with phones, everything was "the battery" for a while. Now it's just the wi-fi's turn to get blamed for every single glitch.

Isn't it funny how we do this with everything, not just tech? I mean, look at how people talk about diets or politics... one simple fix for all problems. It's like our brains just want a quick answer even when things are messy. We latch onto whatever buzzword is popular and blame that for everything going wrong. Makes you wonder if it's just easier than admitting how tangled up real life can be. So wi-fi is just the latest in a long line of easy targets...

Ugh yes I restart the router first too lol. But then I actually check if other devices can connect, and see if the router lights are acting weird. Half the time it's just one device being moody and needs its own reboot.
