Had a client tell me my cable management was 'too pretty' 3 years ago
Ngl, this guy in an IT office said perfect zip ties make troubleshooting a nightmare because you have to cut them all just to swap one drive, so now I just use velcro straps and leave a little slack on every run - has anyone else run into that kind of feedback from a user who actually had a point?

Did the client give you a hard time about the slack too? I had a guy once tell me that my cable management looked like "a bowl of spaghetti" but honestly, he was right - it made swapping a bad drive way faster than any neat job I've ever done.
