Had a client in Phoenix who insisted on using a can of air upside down to clean their server three years ago.

They sprayed liquid all over the motherboard and fried it, costing them over $800 for a new board and my emergency call-out fee. Last month, I saw a junior tech at our shop doing the exact same thing on a desktop, and I stopped him before he made the same mistake. I think we should always show new hires the right way to hold the can, but my boss says it's common sense and not worth the training time. What's your shop's policy on teaching basic stuff like this? Do you make it a formal rule or just hope people figure it out?

Can we just add a warning sticker to the cans?

Our shop has a mandatory five-minute safety demo for every new hire.
