Got called out for using compressed air on a motherboard - still not sure who was right
I was in a client's home office in Glendale last Tuesday clearing dust out of a Dell Optiplex with my air compressor when the guy goes 'you know that kills boards, right?' because of static buildup or moisture. I've been doing this for 8 years and never had a problem, but now I'm second guessing myself. So which is it - is canned air the only safe way or is compressed air fine if you let the tank settle first?

Haven't you ever had a can of duster freeze up mid-spray? Compressed air is fine if you let the tank sit and blow the water out first, been doing it for years with zero issues.
