Found out my bench PSU was the static culprit after 3 weeks

I've been chasing random resets on a custom build for a customer in Austin. New RAM, swapped GPU, reseated everything, still crashed under load. Turns out my old bench power supply was putting out dirty voltage and my ESD mat was actually grounding through it. I plugged the rig into a different outlet with a fresh PSU and it ran stable for 48 hours straight. The weird part is that my multimeter showed fine readings, but a cheap oscilloscope I borrowed from a buddy caught the ripple. Anyone else had a tool fail in a way that only shows up under real load, or is it just me?
